Job Summary:
Our Group is a leading Global company in mobile and gaming accessories. With distribution in Europe, our Company is an expanding global company, we are looking for a highly capable person to join us in our sourcing and development division.
We are seeking an experienced Project Director, managing a local team and overseeing sourcing and development strategies across multiple departments and brands. This role requires a strategic leader who excels at supplier management, product development, and operational efficiency in a cross-cultural environment.
The Project Director will report to both the Mobile Division President and the local General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Division Leadership: Guide the Department by managing functional and portfolio budgets across multiple departments and brands, ensuring sustained year-on-year savings.
• Supplier Management: Collaborate with a large panel of suppliers, ensuring commitment and performance. Improve delivery times and enhance the Quality Control pass rate, maintaining Str0ng relationships with key partners.
• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to expand the division’s portfolio annually while ensuring cost savings across all categories.
• Innovation Spearheading: Through industry intelligence and contact, keep on watch and promote innovative technologies and solutions.
• Product Development: Manage all aspects of Product Development from initial stage to after-sales, leading and coordinating teams to deliver on-time, on-specs and on-budget.
• Quality Coordination : Implement quality guidelines with the local team and suppliers to insure safety, performance and outstanding user experience.
• Strategic Reporting: Provide quarterly purchasing reports to senior management, offering actionable recommendations for optimizing financial savings and improving supply chain performance.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of professionals. Ensure a collaborative working environment with Str0ng communication with other offices in France and Hong Kong.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, particularly in Mobile Accessories, Consumer Electronics or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods.
• Str0ng leadership skills with a track record of growing and managing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success in supplier management and achieving operational improvements.
• Ability to provide strategic insights to senior leadership and optimize procurement processes.
• Experience partnering with international brands or manufacturers is preferred.
•Native French speaker highly preferred, Fluent in English with ideally very good command of Mandarin.
